Unfortunately, dead mold is still very harmful to your health. The only way to safely handle a mold problem is the physical removal of the building materials with mold. In the case of drywall and other permeable/non-cleanable materials, that means removing the drywall itself. Other materials such as wood framing can be salvageable.
